Our Information Technology Juniors are already diving into hands-on learning in Information Technology!
Students have been working together to build and program LEGO robotics systems. They've been sorting through components, assembling their designs, troubleshooting problems, and using the computer software to bring their creations to life.
Along the way, they're developing skills in problem-solving, teamwork, programming, electronics, and technical troubleshooting that they'll continue building throughout their two years in the program.
A great start for this year's Southern Hills Career & Technical Center Information Technology juniors!

SHCTC provides FREE breakfast and FREE lunch for all students! This program helps ensure every student has access to nutritious meals while potentially saving families $929.25 per student each year. Beyond the financial savings, students have access to nutritious, balanced meals that help fuel their bodies and minds. Students who eat healthy meals are better able to focus, concentrate, participate in class, and perform academically. Well-nourished students are more likely to be energized, engaged, and ready to learn every day.
At SHCTC, we're committed to supporting student success both in and out of the classroom by ensuring every student has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.

Our new display wall combines six screens into one dynamic display, creating an innovative way to keep students informed and connected. Each screen features announcements from one of our six partner school districts, allowing students to stay up to date with events, activities, and important information from their home schools.
Even better, with a seamless transition, all six screens combine into one large display dedicated to SHCTC announcements, student achievements, upcoming events, and important reminders.
This exciting addition helps us strengthen communication while keeping our students connected to both their home schools and the SHCTC community. We can't wait for everyone to see it in action!

As we prepare to welcome students on the first day of school, we want to recognize the tremendous work our custodial team has done to get our building ready. Through their hard work and dedication, our custodial staff has helped make SHCTC a safe, clean, and welcoming place for everyone.
Thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to make our school a great place to learn and grow. We appreciate you! 💙🏫
