Snow days are behind us! We are back in session today and excited to welcome our students back. Classes and labs have resumed on the regular schedule. We're getting back to building skills, hands-on learning and career success!





SHCTC will be open at regular time on Thursday, January 29, 2026. If your homeschool is closed, shuttle buses will not run. If you as a parent or guardian do not feel travel is safe the absence will not be held against the student. Lunch menu is grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Southern Hills Career Tech Center will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026. This will be our second "blizzard bag" day.
Southern Hills CTC will be closed, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Students and staff, this is the first "blizzard bag" day.
Southern Hills Career and Technical Center will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026 as a result of the winter storm. This marks the final "snow day". The next five future calamity days will activate student Blizzard Bags.
Georgetown, Fayetteville, and Eastern visited today for their turn at exploring careers. Eighth graders toured our 12 programs to introduce them to their possible future career.

Hands-on learning in action 🫀🩺 Our Sports Medicine students explored the anatomy of the heart through dissection and applied their knowledge by creating and analyzing wounds to understand the full healing process—from injury to scab formation. Real learning happens when students can see and touch what they study.
